That Feels Different

Psychiatric medication management in Texas built on real conversations, true partnership, and results that matter to you.

How I Work

I practice psychiatry the way I wish it had been practiced when I needed it. That means honest conversations, realistic expectations, and care that respects where you’re at right now.

It’s a Partnership

This isn’t about me telling you what to do. We work together to figure out what’s helping, what’s not, and where to go next. You know your life, I bring the clinical expertise. Together, we make decisions that actually make sense for you.

I’ve Been There

I’m not just a provider who studied this in a textbook. I’ve navigated depression, anxiety, trauma, and neurodivergence myself. That lived experience shapes how I show up in the room with you. I get it in a way that goes beyond credentials.

No Performance Required

Show up as yourself, not your “best behavior” version. I’m loud, I laugh, I might curse. You don’t need to be polished or have it all together. This is a space where you can be a real, messy, human exactly as you are right now.

A Safe Space for All

If you’re LGBTQ+, trans, Black, Brown, or part of a marginalized community—you belong here. Safe, affirming care that respects who you are shouldn’t be exceptional. It should be standard.

What I Offer

I provide psychiatric medication management for adults across Texas via telepsychiatry. All appointments are secure video visits, no office, no waiting room, just you and me.

Amanda Anazia, PMHNP-BC

Here’s what sets me apart: I’ve navigated depression, anxiety, trauma, and neurodivergence myself. I’ve sat in the patient’s chair, wondering if the person across from me actually gets it. That experience completely shapes how I show up for my patients.

I started Break the Stigma Psychiatry because I wanted to create the kind of care I needed but couldn’t always find honest, collaborative, and actually human.
