Services
All services are provided through secure telepsychiatry for adults across Texas. I focus on medication management, not intensive therapy and work collaboratively with you to find what actually helps.
Two Accounts, One Simple Reason
You’ll create two separate accounts as part of becoming a new patient:
Headway handles scheduling and insurance billing. This is where you’ll book appointments and manage payments. Visit Headway
OptiMantra is your patient portal for everything clinical, appointment notes, prescription requests, secure messaging, and direct communication with me. Visit OptiMantra
Keeping these separate ensures your clinical information stays private and secure.
Initial Evaluation (60 minutes)
This is where we get to know each other and figure out what’s going on. We’ll cover:
- Your current symptoms, concerns, and what you’re hoping to get out of treatment
- Your medical and psychiatric history
- Lifestyle factors like sleep, nutrition, and stress
- Mood, anxiety, attention, and other mental health concerns
- An individualized treatment plan that makes sense for you
This session sets the foundation for everything that comes after.
Follow-Up Appointments (30 or 60 minutes)
After the initial evaluation, we’ll meet regularly to make sure treatment is working for you. These visits focus on:
- Monitoring your progress and how you’re responding to treatment
- Adjusting medications as needed
- Addressing new or ongoing symptoms
- Providing education and supportive guidance
- Refining the treatment plan for optimal wellness
30-minute visits work well for straightforward medication management. 60-minute sessions give us more time for in-depth discussion when you need it.
ADHD Evaluation
ADHD assessment follows a structured process to ensure accurate diagnosis and safe treatment:
1. Initial Appointment
We’ll review your symptoms, history, and concerns.
2. Diagnostic Testing (Required for Stimulants)
If ADHD is suspected and you’re interested in stimulant medication, objective testing is the next step. This measures attention, working memory, processing speed, and executive functioning.
3. Review Results & Treatment Planning
We’ll meet to review your results and discuss treatment options, which may include:
- Stimulant medications (available only with confirmed testing)
- Non-stimulant medications (can be considered without formal testing)
- Behavioral and lifestyle strategies for executive functioning support
